New Student Orientation
Albany State University’s New Student Orientation affords on-campus or online opportunities for newly admitted students to learn about academic programs, institutional services, student life, and campus resources. Students are also able to meet with academic advisors or to confer with online support specialists before registering for classes. Undergraduates, including international students, who have earned fewer than 15 credit hours are required to participate in orientation. Transfer and graduate students have the option to schedule appointments with program advisors for information and registration. Student are encouraged to register for orientation or for advising sessions after they have been accepted to the University.
